Many are hoping to see the Red Circus Arc, a significant component of the plot, brought to life on screen. It remains to be seen if the next season of Spy X Family will indeed cover this important story arc.

Spy X Family Season 3 Set to Adapt the Red Circus Arc, According to New Visual

Despite the Spy X Family anime team not revealing which arcs will be adapted for the third season, the announcement visual suggests that two major arcs will be included.

The first season of Spy X Family concluded at the start of the WISE Arc. As a result, the upcoming season will cover the remaining events from the manga’s story arc. It is expected that the third season of Spy x Family will then focus on the Friendship Schemes Arc and the Red Circus Arc.

The announcement visual for Spy X Family season 3 features several key elements that suggest what story arcs may be covered in the upcoming anime season. Although the center of the visual is focused on Anya Forger and Bond, the surrounding elements provide hints about potential plot developments.

The items located in the upper-right-hand side of the room suggest that the Friendship Schemes Arc has been incorporated into the room’s design. This can be inferred from the presence of gifts, a volleyball, desserts, and a Yakisoba burger among the featured objects.

The presents may suggest the boxes that were accidentally dropped by Melinda Desmond in the plot. These were the catalyst for the budding friendship between Yor and Melissa. The volleyball could be a nod to Yor’s volleyball game. In the meantime, the desserts are the exact ones that were served on the dining table during Melinda’s Mommy Get-Together.

Finally, the Yakisoba burger is the same one that Becky Blackbell purchased for Anya Forger with the intention of using it to collide into Desmond and further solidify their relationship.

At the same time, viewers can spot clues to the Red Circus Arc on the lower-right-hand side. Among the sources of light in the room is a toy school bus. As readers of the manga are aware, the Red Circus group had taken over Eden Academy’s school bus. Therefore, this visual could be foreshadowing that event.

To the right of Anya, fans can spot Becky Blackbell’s identity card, which contains the SOS request that the student had tossed out of the bus. Beside it, there is a box of “OKASHI”cakes gifted by Damian Desmond during the trip as a token of appreciation for Anya lending her handkerchief.

Finally, there are multiple paper balls near the toy bus that could possibly be alluding to the ones that Anya and Becky exchanged with Damian during their covert conversation on the bus.

From the Spy x Family season 3 announcement visual, we were able to identify these hints. However, due to the multitude of elements present, there may be additional hints that we have yet to uncover.

Additionally, there is further evidence that the third season of Spy X Family could cover the remaining story arcs of WISE Arc, Friendship Schemes Arc, and Red Circus Arc. In the previous season, only 12 episodes were adapted from approximately 20 manga chapters. By estimating the number of chapters that could be adapted from the aforementioned story arcs for the third season, it can be seen that they also amount to around 20 chapters.

Despite the lack of information on the number of episodes in Spy X Family season 3, it can be inferred that both the Friendship Schemes Arc and Red Circus Arc will definitely be included in the adaptation.
