The concept of Lookism originated as a South Korean webtoon, which was initially published on a weekly basis in 2014. After five years, a Chinese television adaptation was also released, and most recently, Netflix has produced their own version in collaboration with Studio Mir.
The anime centers around a high-school student who, upon experiencing bullying, discovers the ability to switch between two bodies: one that is perceived as flawless and another that is deemed unattractive.
