The 153rd chapter of Wind Breaker, titled “Heat,”opened with a glimpse into a mysterious world. Within this world, Takiishi was seen wandering around until he stumbled upon a blazing figure that engulfed the entire world in flames. This was Takiishi’s inner world and the fiery figure was none other than Umemiya.

The scene then shifted to the present, on the rooftop of Furin High School, where the two powerful fighters continued their intense battle. The attention then turned to Endo and Sakura, with the latter expressing doubt about his leader’s current personality and asking if he was always this way during their time at Furin.

Endo agreed and argued that Sakura, the benevolent leader, and his companion, Umemiya, were merely a figment of his imagination, and that his true nature was stubborn. He proceeded to recount how Umemiya’s determination transformed Furin from a hub for criminals into a sanctuary that welcomed all with open arms.

Even though Sakura and his friends believed Umemiya to be a kind-hearted person, Endo mocked them for their belief. Sakura’s painful reaction to his words was noticed by Endo, who then shifted his gaze towards her. The chapter concluded with Sakura observing how Umemiya’s current demeanor showed his sole focus on defeating Takiishi.

The title for chapter 154 of Wind Breaker has not been revealed yet as the manga will be taking a break next week. This hiatus is likely to give the author a well-deserved rest, rather than being caused by any illness or health concerns.

In the upcoming chapter, the ongoing conflict between Umemiya and Takiishi may be further explored, as has been the case in recent chapters. Additionally, a flashback between Sakura and Umemiya may reveal the latter’s discussion about managing his anger.
