Recap of Wind Breaker episode 11

The 11th episode of Wind Breaker opened with Sakura making his way to school while being approached by Nirei and Suo. Sakura was flustered as they had been trying to get his attention for a while, their overly friendly behavior making him feel embarrassed. Once they arrived at school, Sakura was introduced to Taiga Tsureuga. Taiga was curious about Sakura’s defining quality, but was unsuccessful in discovering it. As a result, he invited Sakura to join him at a professional wrestling-themed restaurant after school.

Upon arrival, Mitsuki Kiryu entered with a companion, causing Tsureuga to suggest they all sit together. Kiryu declined, leading Tsureuga to approach their table in a friendly manner and insist on sitting together. Kiryu then playfully teased Tsureuga about his size and how it may intimidate others if he continued to yell as he did with Kiryu’s date. Despite Tsureuga’s apology, they decided to leave. As they exited the restaurant, Sakura and her friends could hear commotion coming from outside.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the person Kiryu was accompanying was not his date, but rather someone he had rescued from a group of local delinquents. As the fight ensued, Sakura and Tsureuga joined in while Suo and Nirei stayed behind to protect the girl. Following the altercation, the boys exchanged their contact information and created a group chat to discuss nominations for the Grade Captain position. The next day at school, Suo silently nominated Sakura for the role, bringing an end to the episode.

What to expect from Wind Breaker episode 12 (speculative)

As the season finale approaches, it appears that Wind Breaker episode 12 will not feature any major or impactful action. However, viewers can anticipate a character-focused episode, particularly as Sakura is compelled to take the initial step in his journey to become Furin’s top member.

Similarly, viewers can anticipate Sakura eventually taking on the role of Grade Captain due to this particular reason. It is probable that he will initially be upset with Suo and the others for placing him in this position, but with their words of encouragement, he should eventually come to terms with it. The finale should also hint at a potential second season, whether through the introduction of a new rival gang or by causing turmoil within the Bofurin.
