Wind Breaker: Episode 3 Recap
The third episode of Wind Breaker started off with Sakura and Sugishita still locked in their intense battle. Suddenly, a voice boomed over the loudspeaker, causing everyone in the class, except for Sakura, to freeze and listen. To their surprise, the voice belonged to Furin’s top fighter, Hajime Umemiya. Sakura couldn’t help but wonder how someone with such a cheerful voice could be Furin’s number one, but her thoughts were cut short by an unexpected visitor who called the class to gather in the courtyard.
Toma Hiragi appeared once again, recognized as the Furin student who had rescued Sakura and Kotoha Tachibana during the street fight they were caught up in. After reminding Sakura to keep quiet about Kotoha’s role, it was announced that the school would be organizing patrols in groups of four or five. Sakura was assigned to a group with Nirei, Suo, and Sugishita, and Toma was chosen by Hajime to be the leader of their group.
After completing their patrols, the group came across a middle school student from the rival Shishitoren territory who was trying to escape. Sakura and Sugishita wasted no time in engaging in a fight, which caught the attention of Jo Togame, the Shishitoren’s second-in-command. Jo eventually left but vowed to face Sakura in battle one day. The episode concluded with Toma bringing Sakura and the others to Hajime to report the incident and formally introduce Furin’s top member.
What to Expect in Wind Breaker Episode 4 (Speculative)
After the Shishitoren was introduced in the previous episode, episode 4 of Wind Breaker will reveal a different side of Hajime as he learns about the latest incident from Toma and his friends. This will also shed light on Toma’s reluctance to tell Hajime about Kotoha’s involvement in a street fight.
Following this, in episode 4, Hajime will suggest that the Bofurin should start preparing for a turf war as the Shishitoren’s second-in-command is now involved. The remainder of the episode will most likely focus on the preparations being made by both the Bofurin and the Shishitoren for the imminent battle.
