Wind Breaker – Episode 4 Recap
The fourth episode of Wind Breaker opened with Toma attempting to clarify the events to Umemiya, but he persisted in dismissing him and discussing his plants. Eventually, Saska, the middle school student who initiated the conflict, stepped in and provided an explanation. Sakura then added that he and Sugishita were responsible for the attack on Shishitoren and instigating the brawl. Umemiya praised their actions and assured them that he would handle the aftermath.
As expected, Choji Tomiyama arrived and issued a challenge to Umemiya, leading him to descend to the Furin high school courtyard to confront him. The two conversed until more Shishitoren members arrived, causing Toma and his companions to also join them. Umemiya and Choji then negotiated a fight, ultimately agreeing to a tournament-style brawl in Shishitoren territory the following day.
Umemiya and co later visited Kotoha Tachibana’s cafe, where they discovered that both Umemiya and Kotoha had grown up together in the same orphanage. It was also revealed that Kotoha was just 16 years old, much to the surprise of fans.
Toma recalled someone he knew from Shishitoren, as Umemiya mentioned that they would uncover the reason behind the downfall of the Shishitoren during their battle, which he likened to a discussion.
The tournament was on the verge of officially beginning the following day when the episode came to an end.
What to Expect in Wind Breaker Episode 5 (Speculative)
As the highly anticipated battle against the Shishitoren draws near, it is expected that Wind Breaker episode 5 will feature a different fighter other than Umemiya or Sakura. It is speculated that Toma will take the spotlight, delving into his past with a member of the Shishitoren and showing how his emotional ties lead to his defeat.
Following this, episode 5 is expected to establish either Umemiya or Sakura as the next fighter, with the latter being more probable due to Umemiya’s rank and position in the series. While viewers may not witness Sakura’s battle against Togame in episode 5, it will lay the groundwork for the upcoming release to center on the fight.
