Wind Breaker episode 5 recap

The fifth episode of Wind Breaker opened with Choji Tomiyama, Jo Togame, and the rest of the Shishitoren fighters guiding Haruka Sakura and her companions to their secret base. The hideout, previously known as the Orion theater, is now referred to as the “ORI”by the Shishitoren, symbolizing a cage. Inside, the remaining members of the Shishitoren gang were causing a commotion, resembling wild animals trapped in a cage. The fight commenced with Kyotaro Sugishita facing off against a fighter named Arima.

Arima’s first move was to call out to Umemiya, pretending to engage in a conversation while secretly planning to catch Sugishita off guard. He then landed a powerful punch to Sugishita’s face, hoping to gain the upper hand. However, to Arima’s surprise, Sugishita was unaffected and instead grabbed his arm. He sternly reminded Arima to use proper honorifics when addressing Umemiya before swiftly throwing him to the ground. The fight was quickly over and Jo Togame couldn’t hide her frustration at this defeat, which Umemiya also noticed. Meanwhile, Tomiyama couldn’t contain his excitement at witnessing Sugishita’s impressive strength.

After his battle with Arima, Hayato Suo faced off against Kanuma, who was a close friend of Arima. Although Kanuma attacked first, he was unable to land a single hit on Suo and even appeared to be struggling. As the fight continued, it became apparent that not even Suo’s comrades were familiar with his skills, but it was evident that he had received training in some form of martial arts. The episode concluded with Suo humiliating Kanuma to the extent that Jo Togame declared him the victor and expelled Kanuma from the gang.

What to Expect in Episode 6 of Wind Breaker (Speculative)

As the final fight between Umemiya and Tomiyama is already confirmed, Wind Breaker episode 6 will most likely feature Toma Hiragi facing off against his supposed childhood friend Kota Sako. This arrangement would leave the penultimate bout for Sakura and Togame, fitting since Togame holds the second-in-command position in the Shishitoren.

Despite expectations, episode 6 will not feature the anticipated match between Sakura and Togame. Instead, the entire episode will be dedicated to Toma’s battle against Sako, providing further insight into both characters and placing emphasis on Toma. It is highly probable that this will also result in Bofurin’s first defeat in the fight. This sets the stage for Sakura to seek revenge for his senior by facing Togame, solidifying the likelihood of episode 6 solely focusing on Toma’s inevitable loss.
