In episode 7 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, the scene opens at the Mercedes Caulis with Elfaria Albis Serfort’s aide-de-camp, Sarissa Alfeld, urging the Ice maiden to review a list of potential talents recommended by the scouts. Sarissa emphasizes that the Ice Faction is particularly interested in Julius Reinberg, as they believe he has the potential to succeed Elfaria.

In the seventh episode of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, the focus shifts back to the Grand Magic Festival as Will Serfort confronts Julius and his team single-handedly. Will makes it clear that he will not back down until the Ice Mage apologizes to Donan and his companions. However, the mage dismisses Will’s determination and employs a smokescreen to unleash a barrage of Ice attacks from all angles.

Despite countering three ice shots, Will is taken by surprise when a fourth one is launched. In a split second, he spots five Julius Reinberg, the Ice mage, in the stadium. The mage smirks at Will and sends one of his clones towards him, causing him to become immobilized.

In episode 7 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, it is revealed that Julius Reinberg’s secret spell is Ars Weiss, one of the twelve hidden arts (El Glace Frosse) developed by Elfaria Albis Serfort. This spell, known as a clone spell, allows the caster to create living ice sculptures.

Will Serfort is confused and turns to Julius, asking him about how to utilize Elfaria’s spell. To his surprise, the ice mage explains that he has acquired the spell through self-teaching. Even though it is just a small portion of their abilities, he believes that he has achieved the skill level of a Magia Vander.

After belittling Elfaria, Julius provokes a reaction from Will Serfort. Breaking free from the ice, Will charges at the mage. But Julius thwarts his attack by using remote magic circles to trap him inside an unbreakable ice cage. He then showcases the power of Xelunea Caulis, causing a large chunk of ice to fall on Will’s head.

Despite the disbelief of the crowd, Professor Edward Serfence firmly believes that Julius Reinberg’s possession of over 10,000 credits is not a mere coincidence. This conviction only grows stronger after witnessing the ice mage’s impressive performance in the Grand Magic Festival, where he flawlessly executed Elfaria’s spell. The onlookers are in awe and doubt anyone could possibly defeat him.

Despite Julius’s disbelief, Iris and Rosty continue to have faith in Will’s victory. This is further confirmed in episode 7 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, where Will Serfort dramatically breaks free from the mass of ice, surviving the powerful spell much to Julius’s surprise.

Despite his agitation, he still manages to send several ice shards towards Will. However, the boy easily avoids them and takes cover behind Julius’s two teammates. Will Serfort then proceeds to inform Julius that his Ars Weiss still has room for improvement.

After that, he renders the Ice mage’s teammates unable to act. Unexpectedly, the clones lose their form and disintegrate. In episode 7 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, it is revealed that Julius has been utilizing his companions to enhance his magic and manipulate the clones.

Despite being able to utilize Elfaria’s spell, Julius Reinberg has yet to fully command it. Will’s remarks undoubtedly ignite anger within Julius. The scene then transitions to the Tower, where Elfaria Albis Serfort reveals to Sarissa that she desires a sword by her side rather than a successor.

In episode 7 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, the focus shifts back to the battlefield where Julius Reinberg scolds Will for trying to lecture him on magic despite being unable to cast even a single spell. He proceeds to showcase his mastery of high-level ice spells in order to trap the boy.

Although he is aware that managing four clones simultaneously is beyond his capabilities, Julius is confident that Will won’t be able to distinguish between them due to their identical appearances. However, the boy still manages to identify the real Julius and runs towards him.

During their conversation, Julius inquires about how Will was able to distinguish him from the other clones. In response, the boy discloses that Ars Weiss clones have an average body temperature that is the complete inverse of the caster’s, ranging from -98 to -99 degrees.

If the caster lacks complete command over the clones, the cold emanating from them will cause ice crystals to form around their feet. Julius is baffled by the fact that a boy without magical abilities possesses more knowledge about the spell than he does.

Will Serfort then reveals to Julius that he and Elfaria have been childhood friends, giving him insight into her magical abilities. He also shocks Julius with a revelation about the Ars Weiss. As seen in Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 7, it was revealed that Elfaria Albis Serfort started learning Ars Weiss at the young age of two.

Although it is not a flawless method and is impossible to defeat, the boy believes that Julius is merely a conceited ruler for boasting about his use of this magic. This realization shatters Julius’s confidence and he questions if he is truly any more mature than a newborn.

Despite his intense anger, Julius creates not just five, but eight ice clones. Nevertheless, Will Serfort reveals to Julius that in his childhood he was constantly bullied by ten Elfaria clones. The boy, who lacks magical abilities, bravely charges at the clones and defeats them with his sword. Julius is unable to keep up with the boy’s speed and receives a powerful punch to the face.

Despite Will’s punch knocking out Julius Reinberg and securing his victory against the mage, Mike Maius believes that the “no-talent”has a clear path towards the crown. However, Wignall’s team manages to reach the crown first while Will and Julius are engaged in their fight. The stadium erupts in cheers as Squad 12, led by Wignall Lindor, wins the crown attack race.
