The author skillfully incorporates elements from his renowned fantasy light novel series into the captivating world of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, including character names and specific combat techniques.
Throughout the story, the manga creator nods to iconic moments from Danmachi during key events, such as Will Serfort’s Ignis Wis, which bears a striking resemblance to Bell Cranel’s Argo Vesta technique against Moss Huge.
During the Dungeon Attack Arc, Will Serfort and his allies from Lihanna’s party confronted the Evil Grand Duke on the 11th Floor. As they struggled against the creature’s overwhelming strength, Rosty Naumann tossed Elfaria’s ice crystal towards Will. This act triggered memories of his past.
