During your adventures, ammo is dropped randomly by enemies, and you might come across demonic ammo alongside regular types. As you explore, watch your map for icons resembling small crystal balls—these symbols indicate areas where you can find both regular and demonic ammo.

Some spots for ammo are indicated on the map at random, while others need to be revealed by interacting with grave-like objects scattered throughout the game.

While on expeditions, you may discover a Supply Key that can unlock chests marked by a blue hue. These containers often yield a larger supply of demonic ammo.

Upon fulfilling the criteria to escalate the game’s difficulty and unlocking Gnosis 1, a vendor labeled as a Collector will become available. This character offers consumables, including various ammo packs.

Additionally, by allocating Demonic Points at the Ascension Shrine to enhance your Luck stat, you can increase the chances of acquiring demonic ammo, as well as standard ammo, from defeated adversaries.

For opportunities that depend on luck, the “Phantom Blades” Arcana is highly recommended. Acquiring this Arcana gives you a chance to reclaim misfired bullets back into your weapon’s magazine, which applies to both demonic and standard ammunition types.

Out of the three weapon slots available, two are designated for standard ammunition, leaving the third for a demonic weapon that you can unlock and equip. Only weapons classified as demonic can utilize demonic ammo, while the standard weapons assigned to the first two slots are incapable of using it.

This limitation exists because ammo types cannot be swapped in Witchfire. The game’s Early Access version introduces the following three Demonic weapons that are compatible with demonic ammo:

  • Vulture Crossbow
  • Falling Star Grenade Launcher
  • Whisper Stun Gun
