In 2025, thanks to its new deal with Wizards of the Coast, Dark Horse will release a series of comics, graphic novels, and art books for D&D and Magic: The Gathering.

The 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons will be celebrated in 2024, and Wizards of the Coast has dedicated the entire year to honoring this milestone. At SDCC 2024, fans were delighted with additional thrilling updates, as Wizards of the Coast announced a partnership with Dark Horse for a range of art books, comics, and other content for both D&D and Magic: The Gathering.

The licensed publishing line is set to broaden the universes of both properties with brand new stories presented in the form of comic series and graphic novels. The respective companies have not yet disclosed the names of the writers and artists who will be involved in the creative process.

The exact number of books that will be included in the lineup is unknown at this time. Despite the lack of specific details, Dark Horse intends to release its initial series in Summer 2025.
