Woman Jumps to Death After Argument With Husband About Streaming Nude on TikTok

According to reports, a woman died after allegedly jumping from a balcony in Bangkok following a heated argument with her husband, who was trying to live stream nudity on TikTok while under the influence.

In the early morning of August 23, Han, a 32-year-old Laotian national, got into a physical altercation with her husband Somsak, 41, resulting in her falling from the fourth floor of their residential building.

According to The Thaiger, Somsak’s wife became upset when he attempted to livestream on TikTok without any clothing.

During his statement to the police, Somsak admitted that he and his wife had been consuming alcohol since the early hours of the evening and had become heavily intoxicated. While live streaming on TikTok, he started to remove his clothing and expose himself, which Han strongly disapproved of.

He remembered her saying, “Why would you do that? It’s disgusting.”

The argument started about streaming nude on TikTok,

During the argument, Somsak stated that Han had leaped from their apartment’s fourth-floor balcony and landed on the ground. In a frantic state, he quickly descended the stairs wearing only a towel and found that his wife had passed away from the fall. He immediately alerted the authorities.

According to Asean Now, it was determined by medical examiners that Han had sustained a fractured skull, broken limbs, and other severe injuries resulting in her death after an argument that was livestreamed in Bangkok.

Police Captain Thaworn proposed that Han’s jump was a result of the argument causing her emotional distress. “We are currently interrogating the deceased’s husband and believe that the livestream argument may have triggered her decision to jump,”they clarified.

The police are gathering witness statements, reviewing CCTV footage, and collecting additional evidence to verify Somsak’s account and verify the sequence of events leading to the death.

This tragic incident is not the first case of someone dying while using TikTok. In early 2024, a 14-year-old content creator fell to her death while attempting to take a selfie at a waterfall.
