The press conference for the movie “Wonderland” took place on the morning of May 9th at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Attending the event were Tang Wei, Suzy, Park Bo-gum, Choi Woo-sik, and director Kim Tae-yong.
During an interview, Park Bo-gum revealed that although he had previously only encountered Suzy as an MC at the Baeksang Arts Awards, it was their first time working together on a project. He further added that when he first read the script, Suzy was the first person that came to his mind. Throughout their filming, they were able to bond and share personal stories, resulting in the successful portrayal of their characters Jeong-in and Tae-ju.
Suzy explained, “In ‘Wonderland’, Jeong-in and Tae-ju’s relationship is depicted as that of friends who are also comfortable lovers. Our close bond from rehearsing together translated seamlessly into our on-screen chemistry during filming.”
The film “Wonderland”narrates the tale of a simulated world called “Wonderland”, created for individuals to reunite with loved ones using artificial intelligence. It is helmed by renowned director Kim Tae-yong, recognized for his works “Family Ties”and “Late Autumn”.
The release date for the film is scheduled for June 5th.
