World of Warcraft Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Shake Shack Collaboration

World of Warcraft has partnered with Shake Shack UK to launch a special menu and exclusive rewards in honor of the game’s 20-year milestone as a live-service title.

The celebrations commenced on October 23, with a grand 20th Anniversary event that will run until January 7. Players can look forward to an array of new activities, including Raids, Classic Timewalking, a fleeting PvP Battleground, and the return of several nostalgic World Bosses from earlier editions of the game.

Among the standout rewards for players are the legendary Tier 2 armor set and the Coldflame Tempest Mount. Additionally, the update introduces several balance adjustments for various character classes.

The festivities extend beyond the game as rumors suggest a collaboration with Mountain Dew for the Anniversary celebrations. Moreover, Shake Shack has disclosed their unique partnership with WoW. Check out this Tweet for more details.

As reported by Verge, this WoW-themed menu will only be offered at select Shake Shack locations in the UK, including Camden, Leicester Square, and Mansion House in London, from November 14 to 21. The first 150 fans to purchase an item from the new menu will be rewarded with a complimentary tankard bearing the 20th-anniversary branding.

The complete WoW menu features:

  • Horde Burger
  • Alliance Fries
  • Xal’atath Shake

Enthusiasm is high among fans who are eager to try these exciting new menu options.

One fan declared, “This is poised to be the greatest collaboration of the century!”

Another expressed, “Not exactly the collaboration we envisioned, but it’s definitely what we needed.”

However, some fans expressed their disappointment regarding the exclusivity of the promotion to UK outlets, questioning whether similar offerings might appear in US locations in the future.

A curious commenter asked, “When will Shake Shack USA jump on board with this?”
