The introduction of Hero Talents in The War Within aims to enrich the current class system. These talents are linked to specific specializations, designed to improve the viability of various builds if executed properly.

Each class offers three Hero Talents, with two options available based on the specialization being used. Druids have four, while Demon Hunters are limited to two.

Pack Leader Hunter Full Hero Talent Tree Explained

All Hero Talent trees revealed so far utilize a similar structure. A Keystone talent outlines the tree’s overall direction, while a Capstone talent signifies its culmination. Between these lie three rows of talents for players to select from. Below is the complete list of Hero Talents for the Pack Leader Hunter:

Pack Leader Hunter Keystone Hero Talent

Vicious Hunt: Kill Command enables a ferocious strike in tandem with your pet, amplifying the physical damage of your next Kill Command.

Pack Leader Hunter First-Row Hero Talents

Pack Coordination: When attacking with Vicious Hunt, your pet is directed to execute a basic attack alongside your next Barbed Shot (Beast Mastery), Raptor Strike, or Mongoose Bite (Survival).

Howl of the Pack: Critical strikes from your pet’s Basic Attack elevate your critical strike damage by 5% for 6 seconds, stacking up to three times.

Wild Attacks: Every third pet Basic Attack will critically hit, with damage augmented by critical hit chance.

Pack Leader Hunter Second-Row Hero Talents

Den Recovery: Aspect of the Turtle, Survival of the Fittest, and Mend Pet restore 20% of the target’s maximum health over 4 seconds. The duration extends by 1 second when healing a target with under 50% health.

Choice Node: Tireless Hunt and Cornered Prey

  • Tireless Hunt: Aspect of the Cheetah now boosts movement speed by 15% for an additional 8 seconds.
  • Cornered Prey: Disengage extends the range of all your attacks by 5 yards for 5 seconds.

Frenzied Tear: There’s a 20% chance with your pet’s Basic Attack to reset the cooldown of Kill Command and allow it to hit a second time for 30% of its normal damage.

Pack Leader Hunter Third-Row Hero Talents

Choice Node: Covering Fire and Scattered Prey

  • Covering Fire: Kill Command extends the duration of Beast Cleave by 1 second (Beast Mastery). Wildfire Bomb shortens the cooldown of Carve or Butchery by 2 seconds (Survival).
  • Scattered Prey: Multi-Shot boosts the next Multi-Shot damage by 25% (Beast Mastery). Carve or Butchery amplifies the next Carve or Butchery damage by 25% (Survival).

Cull the Herd: Kill Shot inflicts an additional 30% damage over 5 seconds and amplifies the bleed damage you and your pet deal to the target by 25%.

Choice Node: Furious Assault and Beast of Opportunity

  • Furious Assault: Consuming Frenzied Tear has a 50% chance to reset the cooldown of Barbed Shot and inflict 30% extra damage (Beast Mastery). Consuming Frenzied Tear provides a 50% chance to make your next Raptor Strike or Mongoose Bite free and dealing 30% more damage (Survival).
  • Beast of Opportunity: Bestial Wrath (Beast Mastery) or Coordinated Assault (Survival) summons a pet from your stable for 6 seconds.

Pack Leader Hunter Capstone Hero Talent

Pack Assault: Vicious Hunt and Pack Coordination now stack and apply twice, remaining active throughout Call of the Wild (Beast Mastery) or Coordinated Assault (Survival).
