Hero Talent trees have become a significant aspect of World of Warcraft: The War Within, introducing exciting new features. Among these is the Slayer Warrior, which enhances the class’s capabilities with impressive additions.
Hero Talent trees introduce a new layer of complexity to the existing talent system in WoW. Similar to the main talent tree, Hero Talents are linked to specific specializations, resulting in improved player choices across the board.
Every class has access to three Hero Talent trees, with players able to choose two based on their specialization. Notably, Druids and Demon Hunters have additional options, with four and two respective trees.
With these factors in mind, let’s explore everything we know about the Slayer Warrior Hero Talents.
Slayer Warrior Full Hero Talent Tree Explained
All Hero Talent trees are currently designed with a Keystone Talent at the start, establishing the main intent of the tree. Following this are three rows of talents, offering players the flexibility to customize their builds, culminating in a powerful Capstone Talent.
Slayer Warrior Keystone Hero Talent
Slayer’s Dominance: Your attacks have a high chance to overwhelm your target’s defenses and trigger a Slayer’s Strike, dealing low damage and applying Marked for Execution, which increases damage taken from your next Execute by 10%. This stacks up to three times.
Slayer Warrior First-Row Hero Talents
Imminent Demise: Increases the chance for Sudden Death to reset the cooldown of Execute, allowing it to be used on any target regardless of health.
Triggering Sudden Death speeds up your next Bladestorm, allowing it to hit one additional time (maximum of three times), while the total duration remains unchanged.
Overwhelming Blades: Each hit from Bladestorm applies Overwhelmed to all affected enemies, causing them to take 1% more damage for 10 seconds.
Choice Node: Relentless Pursuit and Vicious Agility
- Relentless Pursuit: Using Charge removes all movement-impairing effects and grants you 70% increased movement speed for 3 seconds.
- Vicious Agility: Heroic Leap reduces the cooldown of Charge by 5 seconds, while Charge similarly reduces Heroic Leap‘s cooldown.
Slayer Warrior Second-Row Hero Talents
Death Drive: You heal for 50% of the damage dealt by Sudden Death.
Choice Node: Slayer Reflexes and Constant Pressure
- Slayer Reflexes: Slayer’s Strikes have a chance to reset the cooldowns of Bloodthirst and Overpower.
- Constant Pressure: The cooldown of Overpower is reduced by 10% for Arms specialization, while the cooldown of Bloodthirst is similarly reduced for Fury specialization.
Choice Node: Tunnel Vision and Thrill of the Kill
- Tunnel Vision: Your auto-attack speed increases while in combat, but changing targets resets this effect.
- Thrill of the Kill: Using Execute increases your auto-attack speed for 10 seconds.
Slayer Warrior Third-Row Hero Talents
Slay: Marked for Execution boosts the critical strike chance and critical strike damage of your next Execute by 5%.
Frenetic Flurry: Using Overpower (Arms) and Bloodthirst (Fury) can trigger a brief Bladestorm, striking all nearby enemies once. During this period, you can also use Pummel and Storm Bolt.
Slayer’s Focus: Reduces the cooldown of Overpower by 10% for Arms, and Bloodthirst cooldown by 10% for Fury.
Slayer Warrior Capstone Hero Talent
Unrelenting Onslaught: Executing a target marked with Marked for Execution reduces the cooldown of Bladestorm by 5 seconds for each stack and applies stacks of Overwhelmed equal to the number of Marked for Execution stacks the target had.
