A TikTok user has recently shared a video of what she claims to be the “World’s creepiest McDonald’s” . Customers dining at this particular location can witness real human remains while they eat their meal.
Kassidy, who operates a joint social media account with her partner under the handle ‘kassidy_and_james‘, recently shared a video showcasing her unique dining experience at a McDonald’s location.
The restaurant, which is situated in Italy just outside of Rome, was constructed on top of an old Roman road that was eventually abandoned during the empire and transformed into a burial ground.
The road, stretching 147.6 feet underneath the restaurant, utilizes glass panels as flooring to showcase three burials. Customers are able to view the skeletons of the deceased males on display.

Two of the individuals who have passed away are believed to have been adolescents, with the cause of death remaining unknown. The third interment is of an older man between the ages of 35 and 45.
Despite the fracture on his right leg’s femur, the skeleton of the latter does not provide any clues about his cause of death, which, like the previous two, remains a mystery. Although the fracture may have affected his mobility, it was not the ultimate cause of his death.
In 2014, when the restaurant was initially constructed, the superintendent of archaeology for Rome, Alfonsina Russo, informed The Telegraph of the potential origins of the area.
Russo stated that the site was thought to be a segment of a “side road”connecting the Appian Way to either a settlement or a significant property, such as a wealthy noble’s villa or an imperial estate.
The section of road and burials have been kept intact and are now showcased in McDonald’s “first museum-restaurant”, where customers can have the one-of-a-kind opportunity to dine above the ancient graves.
The fast food chain is familiar with creating locations that transport customers to different eras of our world. However, while other restaurants carefully plan their themes, Italy’s tomb may have been a less intentional choice.
In addition, McDonald’s established seven restaurants with a 1950s theme, complete with a nostalgic appearance. The chain also boasts a museum dedicated to McDonald’s, showcasing authentic souvenirs, employee uniforms, and life-size figures from their very first restaurant in the 1940s.
