Wuthering Waves’ Chord Cleansing event has been recently announced, offering players a variety of additional rewards and Union EXP. This has been well-received, especially since the upcoming update 1.1 is approaching and players have already begun gathering XP and Astrites in preparation.
Kuro Games’ recent feedback surveys have shown that a significant portion of players are requesting for more Echo EXP items. As a result, the addition of the Chord Cleansing event is the ideal solution.
Wuthering Waves Chord Cleansing event explained
The Chord Cleansing event is linked to Tacet Fields, providing you with three opportunities for double drops every day. This equates to receiving twice the amount of Union EXP, Echo EXP, and other Echoes typically obtained when completing Tacet Fields.

The Waveplate charge will still be 60, but instead of receiving 450 Union EXP, you will now receive 900. However, it is important to note that players must be at least Union Level 19 to take advantage of these bonuses. This indicates that the developers have primarily aimed this event towards endgame players, particularly those in UL 40 and above.

Completing Tacet Fields will result in all of your usual rewards being doubled, making it one of the most efficient ways to quickly increase your Union Level and obtain more upgrade items for your Echoes. This is particularly beneficial for players who have not yet reached UL 45 and are looking to acquire the 5-star weapon cache, as it presents a great opportunity for them to progress at a faster pace.
Chord Cleansing Event End Date
The Chord Cleansing event in Wuthering Waves began on June 20, 2024 and will conclude on June 27 at 4 AM server time. This is likely the final event before the release of version 1.1, and it will end on June 27 alongside the Second Coming of Solaris and Exploration events.
Since this event will only be available for a week in WuWa, it is important to gather a sufficient amount of resources for your characters and the upcoming Resonators, Jinhsi and Changli in version 1.1. It is expected that both of these characters will require expensive materials for Ascension and Upgrades, making it highly recommended to farm in this location.
