Kuro Games has detailed a number of critical improvements that will be included in the upcoming Wuthering Waves Version 1.0 & 1.1 update.
Despite receiving a lot of praise from both casual fans and streamers, Wuthering Waves has also faced criticism from its free to play players. In fact, the WuWa community has identified several issues that have hindered their enjoyment of the gacha game.
Despite initial reports of login issues, game-breaking crashes, and less than satisfactory text translations, the developers have issued an apology for the game’s problematic launch. They have also outlined a plan to address and fix these issues in both Version 1.0 and Version 1.1.
Kuro Games issued an apology on their official Wuthering Waves website for the launch issues of the game. They acknowledged the shortcomings and problems in their first independently developed and globally published game, expressing their understanding of how it has impacted players’ gaming experience. Efforts are being made to enhance the game for its dedicated fans.
To tackle this issue, the developers have announced that every player will receive 10 complimentary Lustrous Tide, which was distributed on May 24, 2024, through their in-game mailbox. In addition to the free draws, Kuro Games is also offering players the opportunity to choose a free 5-star character until May 22, 2025, at 11:59 AM (local time).
Kuro Games has addressed all the fixes for some of the most talked about issues, making the free items particularly valuable for players looking to summon on the upcoming Yinlin banner.
Wuthering Waves devs have been busy working on several major fixes.
Below are the most significant changes that will be implemented in both Version 1.0 and 1.1:
- In version 1.1, adjustments will be made to the progression system, resulting in reduced costs for Echo development in Shell Credit. Additionally, the yield of Echoes and Echo development materials will be increased.
- Kuro Games will be launching a new limited-time special event called “Wuthering Exploration.”This event will provide players with new rewards and content, enhancing their overall gaming experience.
- Improved combat performance: As part of the latest update, Kuro Games has disabled the “Combat Camera Correction”feature on PC by default. Additionally, they have enhanced the default values and ranges for combat camera settings to improve overall gameplay experience.
- Adjustment to Custom Keybinding: In Version 1.1, the requirement to access the “Custom Keybinding”option will be reduced to Union Level 2.
- The developers plan to optimize the controller mode experience in version 1.1 by remapping the current shortcut for “Open Chat”to “Open Map”and introducing the ability to invert the Y-axis.
- In Version 1.1, enhancements will be made to the Depths of Illusive Realm event, with the addition of more playable characters, new challenges, updated mechanics, and additional buffs.
The Version 1.0 update for Wuthering Waves will include all of the most crucial fixes.
