Wuthering Waves players have come across a clever tactic that allows them to defeat formidable foes without incurring any harm.
Wuthering Waves is filled with numerous lethal bosses and adversaries capable of easily defeating even the most experienced Rovers. Whether it be the freezing attacks of the Lampylumen Myriad or the fiery blows of the Inferno Rider, the post-apocalyptic landscape of Wuthering Waves is not meant for the faint-hearted.
Generally, players should steer clear of powerful bosses and enemies in the open world until they have increased their team’s statistics. Nevertheless, the community has uncovered a clever tactic that allows them to defeat specific overworld enemies regardless of their level.
One player shared a clip on the official Wuthering Waves Reddit page of their successful takedown of a level 45 Chasm Rider using a level nine Mortefi. In the video, the clever player can be seen standing on a ledge above the Chasm Rider, utilizing Mortefi’s basic attacks and skills to gradually chip away at the enemy’s health bar.
Despite the player’s repeated attacks, the monolithic monster remains motionless and does not retaliate. Not only is this tactic entertaining to observe, but it also grants a good amount of XP and a 4-star Echo for your characters.

Despite being already appealing, the player also pointed out that this strategy could be executed fairly quickly: “The unaltered recording only takes 5 minutes, which is definitely worth it considering I was able to obtain a 4-star Echo and 5 achievements at such an early stage.”
If you are interested in trying out the Chasm Rider cheese for yourself, you can locate the enemy near the corrupted zone where you engage in battle against Scar. It is uncertain if this tactic is effective against other enemies and bosses, but it is a valuable method for obtaining decent gear in the early stages of the game.
