With the Backlash PLE just around the corner, WWE gathered a group of wrestlers to sample ten different flavors of macarons. Their reactions were nothing short of hilarious.
Backlash will be WWE’s inaugural premium live event in France. In anticipation of this momentous occasion, numerous superstars treated themselves to a traditional French delicacy – macarons.
Some people were experiencing the deliciousness of authentic French treats for the first time. As expected with such a wide range of flavors to choose from, not everyone found them enjoyable.
Despite the majority being typical flavors that are commonly found in the United States, there were a select few that were exclusive to the country and elicited amusing reactions.
The macaron with a black tea flavor caused a great deal of confusion between the current World Tag Team Champions, Awesome Truth.
In his quest to identify the flavor, the Miz utilized his tongue to sample every aspect of the macaron. This prompted R-Truth to jokingly comment, “Hey man, let’s try to keep it PG.”
Upon discovering that they had consumed a tea-infused macaron, also referred to as Thé Marie-Antionette, both men exclaimed with disheveled expressions, “No, you can’t do that!”

The members of The New Day also commented on the blue-colored treat, with Xavier Woods pointing out, “This is supposed to be a cookie. There seems to be a lot packed into it!”
Woods continued to provide comical responses throughout the video, including one about the pink, rose-flavored macaron. “So, are flowers a regular part of your diet here?”she quipped.
Upon reflection, JD McDonagh from Judgment Day revealed that he had never experienced macarons prior. After sampling a rose-flavored one, he concluded that it was overly sweet for his taste.
McDonagh’s fellow faction member, Dominik Mysterio, grimaced at the flavor of the lemon macaron, appearing as if it might cause him to become sick.
Despite some negative aspects, there were also positive experiences. Chelsea Green and Samantha Irvin particularly enjoyed all ten flavors, with raspberry being the most popular among them.
Despite enjoying the French atmosphere for a brief period, the WWE superstars must now shift their focus to their upcoming business obligations on May 4, where they will perform in front of a packed audience at the LDLC Arena in Lyon.
