The iconic animated series X-Men will be reborn from its ashes in its spin-off X-Men ’97, which has just presented its first trailer: but fans are already divided.
Before the Avengers or Fantastic 4, another team of superheroes reigned over the series and films of the genre: that of the X-Men, livening up the mornings of many spectators on television in the 90s, whether they were young or large,.
Its reboot has been planned for a long time, Disney+ getting involved in the negotiations by resuming development… and here it is: the public was finally able to lay eyes on the first images of X-Men ’97 thanks to a trailer presenting its plot – which will not fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Preparing to land in March on the big-eared streaming platform, the series has released a first trailer. But Marvel fans are divided over the proposal.

On February 15, Marvel revealed the first trailer for X-Men ’97, giving fans a taste of what to expect while picking up where the original animated series left off.

In the English version, Ray Chase lends his voice to Cyclops, while the rest of the cast includes:

If the trailer aroused great enthusiasm among many fans, some of them did not hesitate to express a hint of disappointment or concern on social networks:
It’s the same guy doing his voice from the original series. He gotta be about 60 years old now. This is probably as good as its gonna get lol

“I hope Wolverine’s voice acting improves. / It’s the same guy who did his voice in the original series. He must be around 60 now. That’s probably the best we can hope for, lol.”
