XDefiant June 18 Update: Patch Notes

The patch for XDefiant on June 18 encompasses a decrease in XP requirements for weapon leveling, improvements to the Netcode, and other updates. The complete list of changes can be found in the Y1S0.4 patch notes for XDefiant.

From June 18 onwards, players in XDefiant will experience a faster leveling up process for weapons as they will now require less XP. However, the time it takes to unlock Bronze, Silver, or Gold skins will be extended due to increased requirements for Weapon Mastery levels.

The game’s Netcode has been slightly improved, resulting in a more responsive experience when getting shot. This should reduce the frustration of dying while behind cover or walls.

Additionally, here is a complete breakdown of XDefiant’s Y1S0.4 patch, which will be released on June 18.

XDefiant June 18 Update Patch Notes

The XP requirement for primary weapons has been decreased to 3000 from 3500, and secondary weapons now only need 1000 XP instead of 1500 to level up. It is important to note that this update is retroactive, resulting in all current weapon levels being increased even further.

The MDR Firestorm skin’s previously abnormal recoil, which was included in the battle pass, has been reverted back to its normal recoil. The complete XDefiant Y1S0.4 patch notes, released by Ubisoft, can be found below.

Gameplay

We have made the unlocking of weapon attachments faster by reducing the required XP for leveling up your primary weapon from 3,500 to 3,000 and your secondary weapon from 1,500 to 1,000. This change will be applied retroactively, resulting in even higher weapon levels for existing players. Let’s take a moment for a round of polite applause.

To balance out the quicker availability of performance-enhancing attachments and make the game more challenging for the community, the level requirements for Weapon Mastery have been raised. Fortunately, players who have already obtained Bronze/Silver/Gold skins will be allowed to keep them. We want to be fair to our players.

Netcode

The improved reaction time of your health when being shot should decrease the sensation of being shot while behind walls.

Weapons

Players equipped with the MDR and sporting the Firestorm skin were previously facing an excessive amount of recoil, but this has now been reverted to the standard recoil. Feel free to strut confidently once again.

Factions

Reinstated the custom of players lying down upon death, as opposed to remaining standing while under the effects of Libertad’s Medico Supremo ultra, as it was before.

Other

Further improvements have been made to address crashes.
