Despite causing amusement among K-pop fans globally, Xiker’s Seeun shared a funny incident on his social media platform, Bubble, in which he pretended to be a member of the famous group Seventeen.
The comical story, revealed to his supporters, illuminated a moment of confusion that resulted in a funny predicament.
Recalling the incident, Seeun described in detail,
“So there was a day when it was Seventeen Sunbaenim’s concert. There were a lot (of people). I had my makeup done and I was riding in a (Kia) Carnival so people mistook me as one of the Seventeen sunbaemins. So everyone was cheering and greeting me.”
The unexpected series of events that led to his unintentional impersonation as a member of the famous K-pop group was brought to light by his confession.
Despite being presented with the difficult choice of either disclosing the truth or perpetuating the misunderstanding, Seeun found himself in a comical predicament.
“It was either I close the window… but then if I close the window, fans would think that it was Seventeen Sunbaenim who was closing the window. And as a great fan of Seventeen, I couldn’t tarnish their reputation… so I greeted everyone… I’m sorry……”he elaborated, showcasing his dilemma with a touch of endearing sincerity.
