xQc Challenges Pokimane to Reveal Twitch Deal Amidst $100M Kick Contract Doubts

In a recent exchange, streaming personality xQc challenged fellow creator Pokimane to divulge the specifics of her contract with Twitch, following her skepticism regarding his substantial $100 million deal with Kick.

In 2023, Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel struck what may be the industry’s most lucrative streaming contract, securing an impressive non-exclusive broadcasting agreement with Kick for a reported $100 million. Despite the staggering figure, some observers question its veracity, drawing attention from notable figures, including NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal.

During a February 2025 interview with YouTube duo Colin and Samir, Pokimane hinted at doubts about xQc’s earnings.“The numbers I can confirm are one to 20 million, ” she stated, emphasizing uncertainty about the legitimacy of xQc’s high-profile contract.“Anything beyond that, I’m like, ‘I’ve seen certain headlines, but I cannot confirm.’”

As the conversation progressed, the hosts brought up xQc’s notable Kick deal, prompting Pokimane to share that she had heard different narratives “behind the scenes.” She expressed speculation regarding how the total might encompass equity or varied payment structures, stating, “Is it paid in different ways? Was it actually $100 million, or was it just a headline that makes everybody look good so nobody refutes it? I really cannot confirm or deny.”

xQc Responds to Pokimane’s Doubts

xQc wasted no time in addressing Pokimane’s comments, openly challenging her claims about his contract and questioning the reliability of the information she suggested she had. He even remarked on the past contracts of other streamers, including Ninja’s impressive $40 million Mixer agreement, implying her doubts extended beyond just his deal.

He remarked, “So what she’s saying is that the Ninja $40 million is also fake then, right? I’m just saying, she’s talking about ‘behind the scenes, ’ but I’m curious about what that entails.” He clarified that his contract was solely between him, his agent, and Eddie, the CEO of Kick, and suggested Pokimane’s claims lacked substantial basis.

In a bold move, xQc invited Pokimane to make her own Twitch deal public, arguing that despite speculating on his financial situation, she has been less forthcoming about her own earnings.“What do people want? An official, bank-stamped wire pay slip?” he asked rhetorically.“How about you leak the deal that you had, your legacy deal from way back in the days, and the more recent one — how about you leak those two deals so we can compare?”

It’s worth noting that Pokimane’s exclusive contract with Twitch concluded in early 2024, after which she publicly criticized the platform’s “messy behavior” and opted against signing new contracts with other streaming services. Nevertheless, she continues to maintain a regular streaming presence on Twitch.

This exchange is merely the latest development in xQc’s ongoing criticisms directed at Pokimane, including a recent contention over her opinions regarding Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance.
