Streaming sensation Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has publicly criticized several fellow streamers, including Adin Ross and YourRage, labeling their departure from KICK as “unprofessional.”His remarks highlight ongoing issues within the platform as it navigates its establishment in the live streaming landscape.
KICK has significantly influenced the streaming sector since its inception two years ago. Backed by Stake, this platform has attracted substantial investments, securing contracts with some of the industry’s top talent, including xQc and Trainwrecks, who not only have lucrative agreements but also equity in the company.
Throughout this period, Adin Ross emerged as a prominent figure on KICK. However, he has recently announced his indefinite leave from the platform, hinting at a potential return to Twitch, contingent upon his unbanning status. There are rumors circulating that Ross might reveal the reasons behind his exit from KICK, which adds an air of intrigue to his departure.
xQc Critiques the “Childish”Behavior of Departing Streamers
During a December 9 stream, xQc expressed his dissatisfaction over the manner in which some creators have reacted to their departures from KICK. “It’s incredibly unprofessional to just do that,” he remarked. “It’s cringe; you’re acting like a child. Throwing tantrums for attention and speaking nonsense… it’s dumb,”he conveyed with noticeable frustration.
xQc continued to target specific individuals, mentioning Adin and others like Bruce and YourRage. He likened their behavior to that of a jilted lover, stating, “You can’t just break up and then act like a scorned ex. They’re clinging on, threatening to leak DMs—it’s just foolish.”
In a related fallout, YourRage has also left KICK, alleging that the platform has missed several payments owed to him. However, KICK has disputed this claim, with xQc supporting the platform’s stance, stating, “It’s not true that he wasn’t getting paid; that’s just a falsehood.”
As for Adin Ross, since announcing his intention to return to Twitch, he has yet to provide further commentary or release his anticipated tell-all video. The streaming community is keenly watching to see how the situation unfolds.
