xQc Defends Kick as BruceDropEmOff Says Platform Made His Content “Lazy”

u003cp>xQc has criticized fellow streamer BruceDropEmOff for his recent return to Twitch and his criticism of Kick. BruceDropEmOff claimed that broadcasting on Twitch had a negative influence on his content, leading to xQc’s disapproval.

On May 31, BruceDropEmOff surprised the streaming community by revealing his return to Twitch after taking a year-long break on Kick.

Bruce immediately expressed his dissatisfaction with the green platform, stating that he had a terrible experience and that Kick had made his content appear lackluster.

The former OTK member criticized the lack of creativity within it, saying it killed their motivation. They felt that the only thing being promoted was doing wild and extreme things, and anything else was considered boring.

In the same broadcast, Bruce criticized Kick star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel for stating that he did not have faith in Kick as a platform.

“Now you’re mentioning something that I initially didn’t believe in? Wow! As far as I remember, you joined Kick after I did!”he exclaimed.

Despite Bruce’s remarks, Lengyel has not remained silent. He responded with a passionate statement on X, calling out the streamer for never providing any feedback or communicating with Kick staff during his time on the platform.

The French Canadian individual stated that the person never provided feedback or criticism, but instead spoke negatively about the product and experience after the fact. They also resorted to personal attacks as soon as any push back was received, which the individual referred to as “textbook crash out 101.”They questioned where this energy was before and accused the person of trying to catch them off guard.

xQc also addressed OTK member Yung Jeff, who had retweeted some of Bruce’s remarks and added his own accusation that Kick cannot manage their controversial streamers, resulting in negative publicity and anger from their community.

“Lengyel retorted, “Maybe if we keep discussing Kick’s operations, you’ll be distracted from the current state of your organization, little buddy. Something something glass house.”

Just days after OTK streamer Emiru revealed her plans to move out of Mizkif’s house, citing past events, Mizkif made these remarks. In 2022, he was accused of concealing a sexual assault involving streamers CrazySlick and Adrianah Lee, but after an investigation, OTK declared him “not guilty.”

Despite being a popular platform, Kick has received significant criticism from even its most well-known users. For instance, Adin Ross publicly called out the site for its lack of effort in addressing dangerous content related to reckless driving.

Despite not completing her contract, TheDanDangler quit the site and accused the staff of “sexism.”

Despite signing a lucrative $100M contract in 2023, Lengyel has continued to be one of the most recognizable figures on Kick and has no plans of departing from the platform in the near future.
