xQc Faces Lawsuit from Ex-Girlfriend Adept Over Millions in New Abuse Allegations

Twitch personality xQc faces a new legal battle launched by his ex-partner and fellow streamer, Adept, now taking place in California. This lawsuit demands significant monetary compensation, with claims that may amount to millions, and it includes accusations of abuse not previously mentioned in an earlier Texas lawsuit.

While the new lawsuit reiterates many assertions from the earlier Texas case—which the judge ultimately dismissed—it introduces recent allegations concerning domestic violence that were not previously included.

Adept, whose real name is Samantha, claims that xQc “smashed [her] face into his shoulder, leading to police involvement and the issuance of an Emergency Protective Order.”

The lawsuit also reinforces her previous allegation of sexual battery from the Texas filing. Furthermore, Adept accuses xQc of leveraging his “cult-like” audience to target her and discusses how his fans often refer to her as a “whale.”

Additionally, xQc’s editing team is accused of facilitating this harassment by clipping and sharing segments from his streams, along with using what she deems “defamatory” titles on YouTube.

Examples of these video titles include “Adept robbed xQc” and “Adept literally stole xQc’s McLaren.”

Adept asserts that these defamatory statements have greatly harmed her reputation, resulting in the loss of sponsorships and a drop in her streaming audience.

In her quest for damages, she is aiming for $245,000, but also seeks punitive damages for her claims, as well as legal fees, pushing the potential total beyond $1 million USD.

On October 20, xQc claimed that Adept is asking for a $10 million settlement, expressing frustration by stating, “Dude, I want to make a song and dance and rant for an hour about this s**t. But I’m not giving it the light of day because it’s just… I don’t know what to say. It’s just sad at this point.”

He further mentioned that the allegations presented are ones he has already “won in court” and referred to them as “outrageous sh*t.”

On October 24, xQc informed his fans through his X/Twitter platform that they were welcome to share and engage in discussions regarding the new lawsuit and asserted that he is not compelled to remain silent about it.
