xQc Faces Panic as He Accidentally Launches Marvel Rivals Season 1 Too Soon

xQc recently found himself in a whirlwind of excitement and panic after inadvertently accessing an unreleased game mode, “Doom Match,”that is set to launch with the highly anticipated Marvel Rivals Season 1.

The developers of Marvel Rivals are generating significant buzz ahead of the Season 1 update, which is slated for release on January 10. As details flood in, players can look forward to new features, including a fresh Battle Pass and an array of new skins for upcoming heroes.

xQc Unintentionally Reveals Doom Match Gameplay

During a recent preview stream, xQc was initially scheduled to engage in a series of custom matches with fellow gamers and professional players on an exclusive build of the game. Access to this early version is limited to invite-only participants, meaning there is no matchmaking involved, just private games with enough players to fill the team compositions.

As xQc navigated through the menus, exploring the new cosmetics and settings for Season 1, his accidental clicks led him into the new game mode without a second thought. It was a seemingly innocent exploration that quickly turned into an unexpected reveal.

Upon realizing that he had mistakenly chosen “Doom Match”instead of the intended custom game, xQc expressed his surprise as well as concern about leaking confidential information. “Wait, new game mode and new game map?”he exclaimed, responding to the alert from viewers in the chat.

Although he swiftly backed out of the game, his stream provided the first glimpse of “Doom Match”in action. This mode is designed as a free-for-all, allowing 8 to 12 players to compete in a leaderboard that prioritizes kills. Once players reach the required number of knockouts, the top half are declared victorious.

The Sanctum Sanctorum map, where xQc inadvertently loaded into, is reportedly vast, featuring multiple portals that lead to various distinct areas of play. xQc humorously remarked, “Fired from my job?” after his accidental reveal, assuring viewers he could find another gig should the developers be upset with the incident.

As anticipation builds for the official launch of Season 1, players are eager to explore new gameplay modes like “Doom Match”and experience all the new features Marvel Rivals has in store.
