The Yellowstone series isn’t supposed to return to our screens until November 2024, but fans claim to have information “inside”about how the series will end.
Yellowstone is far from ending definitively, but the series has experienced many ups and downs recently, particularly for its season 5. Between the actors’ and writers’ strikes, and the departure of star Kevin Costner, the production will not have was very relaxing.
However, even before the series ended for good, fans claimed to have “inside information” about the finale that awaits viewers. And if they are true – which is, obviously, unlikely – then the Yellowstone audience is not ready for what lies ahead.
Yellowstone fans claim to have “confidential information” about the grand finale
According to a recent thread on Reddit, some fans have “internal information” about the Yellowstone finale.
“An inside source told me… I can’t give a name… that in the finale, two cowboys will have a final duel… maybe Rip… not sure,” u/grimy-swine commented on the thread Reddit dedicated to the end of the series.
Before adding: “In any case, it’s a duel of pirouettes on the horses. Which goes too far. The horses will spin so quickly and with so much malevolence that it will literally open a vortex to the realm of hell… and ancestors of the tribe will return and take back what belongs to them and was promised to them in 1883. End credits. “
To which another Internet user – also obviously well informed – added: “Horses are tearing the fabric of space-time and there is a new multiverse… where horses ride humans.”
Fans’ bitterness over the end of the Yellowstone series
If the jokes liven up the dedicated thread on Reddit, it is above all a bittersweet feeling which prevails among fans of the Yellowstone series, after the previous seasons.
“The series is already over. She was already dead. They just wanted to milk her a little longer, post-mortem, until the spring dried up. Taylor Sheridan knows this. Kevin Costner knows this. This is why Sheridan told Paramount he would only do one season of 1883 (which told the intended story from start to END) and the real reason Costner left. The series went from fantastic in the first season to tasteless and annoying in the fifth season. Yes… I watched everything more than once. I still love her even if she sucked towards the end,” said another user.
“At this point, I think they’re just going to fill the second part of season 5 with Sheridan just doing cowboy stuff. The finale will show the Yellowstone supervolcano explode and kill everyone, making the whole series pointless,” another Reddit user concluded.
The potential loss of lead actor Kevin Costner for Yellowstone is also significant in fans’ approach, as one commenter noted: “From what I understand, Kevin Costner is no longer filming scenes. I’m curious to see how they’ll handle this if we ever get the second half of season 5.”
For the moment, part 2 of season 5 of Yellowstone is still expected for November 2024. We will therefore have to be patient before seeing the horses tear space-time apart, or the volcano wake up.
