YG Announces BLACKPINK 8th Anniversary Event with Only Greetings on the Pink Carpet

On July 26th, YG Entertainment announced that there will be no typical activities such as cast remarks, behind-the-scenes talks, or media Q&A at the press conference for the film ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN CINEMAS’, which will take place on August 9th at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. The press conference is being held to celebrate the film’s premiere and the group’s 8th debut anniversary.

It was stressed that BLACKPINK will be meeting their fans and the press on the ‘pink carpet’, which serves as the equivalent to a red carpet, in order to express their gratitude.

YG Entertainment previously announced that all four members of BLACKPINK would be present at the press conference for their film “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN CINEMAS”, scheduled to take place on August 9th at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. However, there will be no Q&A session or opportunity for the members to share their thoughts on the group’s 8th anniversary, despite initial anticipation.
