On April 13th, BABYMONSTER hosted a fansigning event in Suwon, Korea. The all-female group had the opportunity to interact with their fans in person while performing songs from their albums.
During the event, Chiquita, the youngest member, encountered a wardrobe malfunction and promptly descended the stage to seek assistance from the staff.

Despite the abundance of fans and cameras at the event, it proved to be a challenge to swiftly fix Chiquita’s outfit. However, a bodyguard came to the rescue and shielded the camera, allowing Chiquita and her team to address the wardrobe malfunction without any hindrance.
The video of this incident quickly went viral online, with many viewers praising the bodyguard’s swift response in shielding the artist. However, there were also those who raised concerns about YG’s stylist allowing Chiquita, a minor, to wear a skirt that was deemed too short.
This TikTok video has garnered more than 2.7 million views in just two days.
