Yonhap News TV released exclusive CCTV footage on August 13th showing Suga riding an electric scooter while under the influence. The video captured Suga gliding on an electric scooter through the streets of Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul at 11:10 p.m. on August 6th, heading from the south to the north.

Suga was riding an electric scooter on the sidewalk when he hit a boundary stone and fell. Shortly after, police patrol members came across Suga and called for support from a nearby police station. Within 10 minutes, a patrol car arrived and administered a breathalyzer test.
The breathalyzer test results showed that Suga’s blood alcohol level was 0.227%, providing evidence that he was intoxicated. This number greatly exceeded the legal limit for revoking a license, which is 0.08%. If the blood alcohol level surpasses 0.2%, the consequences become more severe, and a conviction could result in a prison sentence of two to five years or a fine of 20 million won.
According to reports, Suga informed the police that he had consumed only one glass of beer and drove for a short distance. Despite being intoxicated and not conducting a thorough investigation, the police measured his blood alcohol level and escorted him back to his residence. They did not seize the electric scooter that he was operating.
The police have finished verifying Suga’s last travel distance and route and are currently arranging the schedule for a summons investigation.
