On Friday, August 30, 2024, the official website and X handle for You Are Ms. Servant anime released the second promotional video, revealing that the series will debut in Fall 2024, specifically on October 5, 2024. The staff also announced the broadcast information for the highly anticipated anime.
You Are Ms. Servant, also known as Kimi wa Meido-san, is an adaptation of the manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Shotan. The series has been serialized on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website since June 2020 and has published eight volumes to date. Felix Film is the production company behind the series.
You Are Ms. Servant anime’s new trailer confirms the October 5, 2024, release date
As previously stated, on Friday, August 30, 2024, the official team behind the You Are Ms. Servant anime released the second promotional video, revealing that the anime will premiere on October 5, 2024.
According to the recently announced broadcast details, You Are Ms. Servant anime will be airing its episodes on TV Asahi’s NUMAnimation programming block every Saturday at 25:30 JST, beginning October 5, 2024 (which is effectively Sunday at 1:30 AM JST, October 6, 2024). The anime will also be available for streaming outside of Japan on Crunchyroll.
In addition to airing on TV Asahi, the show will also be shown on the BS Asahi channel in Japan every Saturday at 1 AM JST, beginning on October 13, 2024. Japanese viewers can also catch the episode on AT-X every Sunday at 11 PM JST, starting from October 6, 2024.
The most recent trailer features Yuki/Xue, the main heroine, showcasing her abilities as a former assassin while carrying out her maid duties. However, her clumsiness often hinders her progress. The PV effectively portrays the contrast between her composed demeanor and endearing appearance. Additionally, the trailer introduces Hitoyoshi, Riko, and Agemochitaro as supporting characters.
You Are Ms. Servant: Cast, Staff, and Plot
The romantic comedy anime features Toshiki Kumagai as the lead protagonist, Hitoyoshi Yokoya, with Reina Ueda portraying the character of Yuki/Xue. The rest of the cast includes Konomi Inagaki as Naka Hikage, Hikaru Iida as Riko Yokoya, Eriko Matsui as Agemochitaro, and Lynn as Grace.
Ayumu Watanabe leads the production of the anime at Felix Film, with Deko Akao overseeing the scripts. Masahiro Tokuda is listed as the composer for the music, and Tomoyasu Kurashima is responsible for the character designs.
According to Shotan’s manga, the anime series You Are Ms. Servant combines elements of action, romance, and comedy, as it follows the story of Hitoyoshi Yokoya, a high school student, who unexpectedly gains a new maid in the form of Yuki, a former assassin.
