Bae Chul-soo, Kim Kyung-sik, Younha, and Lee Seung-guk were featured as guests on the July 24th episode of MBC’s entertainment program “Radio Star.”
On “King of Mask Singer”, Younha shocked the audience by revealing to Kim Gu-ra, “I’ve heard that you also struggle with panic disorder. But it’s okay, we’re both learning to cope with it”. During her appearance on “Radio Star”, Kim Gu-ra inquired about her progress with panic disorder, to which Younha replied, “I’ve been able to improve by making more eye contact and engaging in conversation”.
Younha shared her thoughts on her song “Event Horizon” , which surprisingly rose on music charts in reverse. She expressed her enjoyment of the promotion, but also expressed her hope that the song would continue to be loved for a long time. Yoo Se-yoon then playfully joked, “I’ve heard some people refer to you as the ‘salmon of the music industry’ for your chart-climbing style.”
Despite auditioning multiple times, Younha was unable to debut in Korea and instead made her debut in Japan. She later revealed that she had tried out for various companies, with SM being the one she auditioned for the most.
Furthermore, Younha revealed, “I was contacted by a staff member from the ‘Queen of Tears’ team who expressed their interest in using my song ‘Waiting’.”When inquired about the fees for the usage of her song, Younha replied, “As this is Ji-won’s drama, I wanted to offer it as a gift. It may not be a significant amount, but I believe it would benefit both parties.”
Speaking about her friendship with Kim Ji-won, the female singer shared, “We were both signed to the same agency when we first met. Ever since then, we’ve been inseparable. Ji-won has a passion for music and she’s incredibly talented. She sings and plays the piano beautifully. In fact, she even played the piano in one of my music videos and joined me on a music show.”She also added, “Our friendship has only grown stronger over time.”
