Despite the fact that Young Sheldon Season 7 is coming to a close next week, fans have recently realized that one of its recurring guest stars is already a television legend.
As the finale of Young Sheldon Season 7 approaches, beloved characters are making their way back to Medford for a final farewell. During Sheldon’s farewell to Nathan at the comic book store, fans have finally realized that he is actually Steve from the popular children’s TV show Blue’s Clues.
After portraying the beloved character Steve in Blue’s Clues from 1996 to 2006, the actor’s real name, Steve Burns, later transitioned into a role behind the scenes for the follow-up movies Blue’s Clues & You! and Blues Big City Adventure.
“Wait a minute…is that Steve Burns?!?!”exclaimed one comment in response to a recent video featuring the duo in an episode from Season 7 of Young Sheldon. Another person noted, “I’ve seen every episode of Young Sheldon and I just realized that’s Steve for the first time!”
“Steve?! What brings you here?!”chimed in a third person, with a fourth person adding, “I always enjoy seeing Steve’s amazing cameos.”
At the start of Season 3, Burns’ character Nathan makes his first appearance when Sheldon is on a mission to locate a lost episode of Star Trek. This leads Sheldon to King Kong Comics, where Nathan is employed. After a health scare, Sheldon discovers his fascination with superheroes and frequents the comic book store.
It has been confirmed that Nathan will make a comeback in Season 7 Episode 12, as the episode begins to lay the groundwork for important storylines involving both Sheldon and George. According to the official synopsis, “George Sr. receives an enticing job offer while Sheldon gears up for his relocation to California.”
The upcoming episodes in Season 7 will also see the return of familiar characters such as Tam, Paige, and Dr. Sturgis.
