Young Sheldon star hilariously hints George’s death was a murder

After the off-screen death of George, Young Sheldon fans were left to grapple with the loss. However, one star has recently suggested that it could have been a murder.

Just prior to the conclusion of Season 7 of Young Sheldon, the unexpected passing of George in Episode 12 shocked the Cooper family. According to Principal Tom and Coach Wayne, it was due to a heart attack. However, a recent Instagram post hints at a different cause.

Despite the alarming photo of Annie Potts holding a knife to Lance Barber’s throat, fans can rest assured that it is all in good fun. Potts, who portrays Meemaw a.k.a. Connie, shared the picture from the set with the caption: “How did George really die?”It is clear that the post is meant to be humorous and not a cause for concern.

While Barber participates in the snap, both fans and fellow cast members of Young Sheldon have also been embracing the joke.

Actress Raegan Revord commented, “I have eagerly been anticipating the release of this pic.”Montana Jordan chimed in, “I absolutely love it.”

The idea was further expanded by one fan, who remarked: “I can’t wait for ‘Meemaw’s Sweet Revenge’ to come out. It all began when George snuck into Meemaw’s home in search of her secret brisket recipe. This show and its amazing cast will be greatly missed.”

The ongoing brisket feud between George and Meemaw first arose during Season 1. In an effort to ease the tension among the family, Sheldon intervened, resulting in a pivotal episode that altered the direction of the show. The significance of this feud was even acknowledged at George’s funeral.

Meemaw takes to the lectern in place of Mary, who is unable to give her eulogy. She shares stories from George and Mary’s younger years and lovingly refers to him as the “King of Brisket.”She concludes by expressing her pride in having him as her son.

“It’s not the right time to make jokes! I’m still holding back tears,”a fan commented on George’s passing in the seventh season of Young Sheldon. Another fan concurred, saying, “Wow, what a talented actress. I was convinced those tears were genuine.”

Fans discovered that George had passed away suddenly from a heart attack while coaching at Medford High School, following two previous heart attacks in Season 1 and Season 5.
