A Korean YouTuber is convinced that she may have been abducted when a random man in Seoul, South Korea gave her a chocolate bar with a visible injection mark on it.
During a live-streaming session at a restaurant in the Itaewon neighborhood of Seoul, South Korea, content creator Shining Gakyung caused alarm by disclosing that she had received a chocolate bar from a man from another country.
A concerned viewer wrote in the live chat as the streamer displayed the chocolate to the camera, “Avoid eating it as it was given to you by a stranger. Eating it might result in being kidnapped.”
Upon discovering a small injection mark, Gagyeong took the initiative to slice the chocolate bar in half in order to conduct a more thorough examination. Upon examining the inside, she came across a discolored section adjacent to the presumed “needle mark.”
The Korean YouTuber searched for the man who had given her the chocolate, but was unable to find him. She then noticed a hole in the chocolate and commented, “I can tell that only this hole is slightly wet.”
The speaker later revealed to her audience, “I never would have expected to see a syringe mark,”and went on to say, “If I had actually consumed it, I would have faced serious consequences.”
Gakyung uploaded a brief video of the incident to her YouTube channel on April 22, with the title “Beware of the Kidnapping Tactic,”in an effort to caution individuals about possible abductions in the neighborhood. Numerous commenters expressed apprehensions about drug-related offenses in the vicinity.
According to Korea JoongAng Daily, there has been a lot of talk on social media about the importance of being cautious when accepting alcohol or food from strangers, particularly in clubs located in Itaewon.
According to Korea Customs, there has been an increase in the incidence of “Pongdang Drugs,”a criminal strategy designed to create drug addiction among individuals, often resulting in further crimes being committed against them.
