YouTuber Connor Franta hits back at Daniel Preda after being called “most boring person”

Fans were taken aback when Connor Franta publicly addressed Daniel Preda’s recent video, in which he referred to him as “the most boring person”during a filming session with his ex-boyfriend Joey Graceffa.

Joey Graceffa premiered his latest YouTube series, “Spill or Spew,”on April 21st. In this series, he and a guest take turns asking each other provocative questions, with the option to either answer truthfully or consume something unpleasant.

In his initial video, he featured his ex-boyfriend Daniel Preda, with whom he had a six-year relationship from 2014 to 2020. Despite their breakup, they have remained on friendly terms and Daniel has continued to make appearances in Joey’s videos.

During a conversation, Daniel was asked if he had ever experienced jealousy while being in a relationship with Joey. He admitted that he had felt envious of YouTuber Conner Franta at one point. However, Daniel quickly added that his jealousy dissipated when he realized that Connor was actually “the most boring person ever.”

Joey promptly intervened, stating “There’s no reason to be unkind to Mr. Franta,”to which Daniel retorted, “I’m not being unkind, I’m simply speaking the truth… In any case, no one is interested in him anymore.”

Connor recorded a TikTok clip of this moment and focused the video on Daniel while saying, “Rumor has it you’re still envious of me. For years, you’ve been indirectly mentioning me and my name has been on your lips and in your thoughts.”

“You seem to have an unhealthy fixation on me. I do not understand the reason behind it, as I do not give you any thought and the online world is not concerned with you either. You are solely recognized as Joey Graceffa’s former partner. Please refrain from bothering me.”

He concluded his remark to Daniel by saying, “If my offense is being uninteresting, then yours is having no substance.”

Joey Graceffa and Connor Franta maintained their friendship while Graceffa was in a relationship with Preda, frequently collaborating on YouTube videos.

In 2015, after being together for about a year, Graceffa and Preda faced a situation where Preda needed to clarify his comments about someone with a “gorj”Instagram who was described as “a slice of stale white bread in person with no personality.”This clarification was necessary after Franta’s fanbase began attacking Preda, as he wanted to make it clear that his comments were not directed towards Franta.

In just one day, Connor’s response to the video has garnered over five million views and nearly a million likes. Viewers are surprised by his attack on Daniel, but many are supportive of his actions.

Two individuals shared their thoughts on a situation, with one writing, “I’m unsure if this is genuine beef or simply playful banter. However, referring to him as nothing seemed like a provocation LOL.”The other person stated, “Wow, 8 years of conflict resolved in just 15 seconds. I never thought I would witness this day.”

Another person commented, “Who is Daniel?”and Connor responded with, “That’s exactly what I was thinking.”

In his original video, Daniel went on to insult Connor even more by referencing their ten-year acquaintance and claiming that he had never been friendly or kind to him.

Despite conflicting opinions, it appears that some fans are unsure of the sincerity behind Connor’s actions in the video. As one individual commented, “I am uncertain if this was a genuine dispute or simply playful banter. However, referring to him as nothing seemed like a serious provocation LOL.”

Daniel’s response to Connor’s video was a “stitch”of his own, in which he can be seen lying in bed, looking at the camera and saying, “Oh… girl, you really impressed me. I have to give you credit for that, you completely blew me away.”
