YouTuber crashes $1.2M McLaren into dealership in viral video

Despite being a popular YouTuber, Edmond Barseghian has faced heavy criticism online for his involvement in a viral video where he crashes a 1.2 million McLaren Senna.

The incident of YouTuber and race car driver Edmond Barseghian crashing a $1.2 million McLaren Senna into a dealership has gained widespread attention on social media, with the video going viral.

Despite the rarity of this model, with only 500 in existence, the number may have decreased by one due to Barseghian’s negligence.

The situation reached its climax when a video of the crash was shared on X (previously known as Twitter). The clip depicted the driver accelerating and performing donuts on the road for the camera.

The footage then transitions to a later scene showing the car lodged into a building, with the front of the expensive vehicle completely demolished.

Despite initially choosing not to address the crash, Barseghian finally acknowledged the incident in a recent Instagram post. He confirmed that he was the driver involved and expressed regret for the incident.

“It seems like we unintentionally gained a lot of attention yesterday, but not in a positive way. It’s as if the building was eager to collaborate with us. Thankfully, a day at the track always helps me reset and shake off any negative feelings. As a human, this one does hurt a bit. I had a special connection with that car, but I know I will bounce back from this.”

Barseghian also acknowledged, “I am open to receiving criticism in the comments for those seeking a quick burst of dopamine. I understand and accept any backlash, as I take responsibility for my actions and have learned from this experience. However, I am determined to move forward and stay safe.”
