YouTuber Lee Jin-ho Faces Backlash for Unverified Allegations Regarding Kim Sae-ron’s Pregnancy and Miscarriage

On March 19, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho shared an incendiary video titled “Shocking! Kim Sae-ron’s Lifetime Recording… The Truth Behind the January 8 Marriage Rumor” on his channel, “Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho.” This video has since ignited substantial controversy surrounding personal matters of the late actress Kim Sae-ron.

In the video, Lee Jin-ho disclosed a recorded phone conversation between Kim Sae-ron and an unnamed representative from her new agency, referred to as A. The discussion was sparked by a social media photo Kim posted on January 8, which featured the word “Marry” alongside an image of her with a non-celebrity male companion, provoking marriage speculation.

During the conversation, Kim clarified that the post was made by her boyfriend, who resides in New York with her. When queried about the existence of a wedding, she confirmed, “Yes, we already had a ceremony overseas.”

In a candid revelation about her past, Kim recounted, “While I was dating my current boyfriend, I encountered someone else (B) in Korea. Our relationship ended due to issues from B’s company, but I committed to assisting him with certain matters. I was transparent about my relationship status when I concluded things with B.” She added, “I never intended to marry, but I became pregnant.”

Responding to inquiries about her pregnancy, Kim acknowledged, “I terminated the pregnancy.” Pressed further about her marriage, she stated, “Yes, I got married after getting pregnant, but then I had an abortion. I felt coerced into it; it was not entirely my decision.”

Describing her husband, Kim characterized him as “a non-celebrity corporate employee whom I met through an acquaintance.” However, she also shared concerning details about their relationship, noting, “He often displayed anxiety, particularly during periods of separation.”

Moreover, she revealed troubling aspects about their communications: “He controls my KakaoTalk and Instagram accounts, restricting my communication to Telegram and text messages. He didn’t understand my desire for privacy regarding our marriage, leading to frequent arguments. Eventually, he shared our marital status online, yet I had to delete the post immediately.”

Lee Jin-ho has been a controversial figure, consistently producing videos about Kim Sae-ron for the last three years. In earlier content, he scrutinized her social media interactions, sometimes suggesting that she shared a photo with actor Kim Soo-hyun to display her connections. Additionally, he accused her of feigning employment at a café and questioned her authenticity in reflecting on her past, particularly after her DUI incident, which he claimed she attended a drinking party right after.

In a devastating revelation, Kim’s father reported that she experienced suicidal ideation on multiple occasions following the release of one of Lee Jin-ho’s videos. On March 17, her family took legal action against the YouTuber through the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, demanding an official apology.

In light of the family’s legal challenge, Lee Jin-ho retaliated by disclosing additional private information about the late actress. This escalation has ignited a fierce debate online, with some condemning his actions as an unnecessary invasion of privacy while others argue he is merely deflecting from deeper issues at play.
