Paul Harrell, a popular YouTuber, passed away at the age of 58 due to pancreatic cancer. He shared this news through a video on his own channel.
For the past twelve years, Paul Harrell has been consistently uploading numerous videos to his YouTube channel, where he provides valuable firearms information for the general public. As a result, he has gained a loyal fan base and accumulated over 1.1M subscribers on the platform since 2012.
In July 2023, Paul disclosed that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which ultimately led to his death.
The video announcing his passing was uploaded to the YouTuber’s channel on September 3, 2024. With nearly 1.8M views, it quickly became one of the top trending videos on the site.
He stated, “Today, on December 20, 2023, I am recording this video and giving Brad instructions to publish it after I pass away. Therefore, if you are currently viewing this, I have already passed away.”
Harrell further clarified that the cancer had not been detected as promptly as they had initially believed, resulting in it spreading to his bones and leading to his hip breaking. He also expressed his desire for his brother to continue creating content for his channel and encouraged fans to refrain from immediately cancelling their Patreon subscriptions.
The YouTuber’s fans inundated the comments section to show their respect.
One user remarked that Paul’s final lesson was a master class in gracefully and dignifiedly facing death.
