YouTuber Norme, who garnered widespread attention for his unprecedented 200-hour live streaming marathon without sleep, is now embarking on a new challenge: broadcasting live from the toilet. His latest attempt aims to set a world record for the longest continuous time spent sitting on a toilet.
In August, Norme’s marathon stream raised concerns among his audience as he pushed the limits of endurance. During this record-breaking event, his broadcasts on Kick and YouTube were abruptly terminated, resulting in bans from both platforms.
Following his recovery, Norme took on another unique challenge, spending a month in total isolation within a completely dark room. This daring experiment aimed to test the limits of his mental state. With that stream concluded, he has now shifted his focus to tackling a new venture.
Norme’s Latest Challenge: Broadcasting from the Toilet
On November 21, Norme officially announced his latest endeavor: attempting to break the world record for the longest time seated on a toilet. In a rather unconventional twist, he also launched a new cryptocurrency, humorously named “Shitcoin,”stating that he wouldn’t leave the toilet until it achieved a market cap of $50 million. As of now, Norme is exclusively streaming on Twitter/X, although he may expand to other platforms during this challenge.

Viewers quickly took to the comments section of Norme’s post to express their opinions on his ambitious record attempt. Some urged him to reconsider, highlighting the potential risks associated with such extreme challenges. One user cautioned, “Stop doing this sh*t to yourself, dude,”while another noted concerning precedent: “Didn’t someone go paralyzed for being on the toilet too long?” In a lighter vein, a third user joked, “Yo man, put the seat down, and you can actually go for days.”
Interestingly, while Guinness World Records does not have a specific category for this challenge, there is a precedent for extreme toilet sitting. In 2019, a Belgian man drew attention for his 116-hour toilet stint, which is approximately five days. During his attempt, he was permitted to take five-minute breaks every hour to stretch and utilize a restroom, allowing him to accumulate time for sleep.
As Norme continues his wild pursuits, the online community remains captivated by his relentless quest for notoriety and the surreal nature of his streaming content.
