Today (20th), YUJU returns with a new single “DALALA”. This is her second gift to fans after 6 months since the mini album “O”in March, which fans are looking forward to.
In order to promote the new song, YUJU actively accepted interviews and introduced “DALALA”at the beginning. This is a minimalist groovy song that matches YUJU’s voice very well. When asked about his favorite song among the old songs, YUJU explained that it was “겨우, 겨울Cold Winter”. Perhaps this is because he had the least trouble when making this song, so he thought it was “just like me.”
Then, YUJU talked about the genres she wanted to challenge and the artists she wanted to collaborate with. She wanted to try ballads the most, and she also looked forward to one day being able to collaborate with Cho Seung-yeon (WOODZ) using a band sound.
From girl group GFRIEND to SOLO, YUJU has been busy with work. What do you like to do in your free time? She said: “Originally on my days off, I would go out for a walk, buy something I want to buy, or go to a cafe, but recently I don’t go out much. I spend time organizing my thoughts to make sure I don’t miss anything.”
