Yulhee’s Shocking Claim: “Choi Minhwan, Caught at Adult Venues, Stuffed Cash in My Cleavage”

On October 24th, Yulhee took to her YouTube channel “Yulhee’s House” to express her feelings about her recent divorce.

Reflecting on her segment aired on TV Chosun’s “All By Myself” on October 22nd, Yulhee shared, “Watching it made me feel anxious and fearful. It was like I was critically assessing my own life. I realized that if I let myself cry, I wouldn’t be able to think clearly. I struggled with why so many people had harsh judgments about me, so I tried to adopt an objective viewpoint about myself. There were moments of deep sadness and despair. I often considered, ‘Should I just reveal everything?’ I chose to divorce for my own well-being, although my primary concern remains my children.”

She emphasized that their divorce was resolved amicably, without resorting to court actions. “We didn’t involve the judicial system. It was a mutual decision reached through talks. I saw no need to delve into blame. There are occasions when I feel wrongly accused, and I wonder if the criticism should be directed at me,” she clarified.

Yulhee also responded to backlash regarding her choice to enroll her children in a costly kindergarten that charges 8 million KRW monthly. She expressed her dissatisfaction, stating, “The decision for the English kindergarten was mutual. It’s not far; no one would send their kids on a 1.5-hour commute. I was also feeling drained. A relaxed mother contributes to happier children. This was based on misinformation. I didn’t impose the education expenses; we both agreed to manage it.”

Notably, Yulhee drew attention when she mentioned Choi Minhwan’s visits to adult establishments. “About a year before our separation, a major incident occurred that drastically altered our married life. Although I was capable of managing childcare and conflicts, and even enjoyed our big family, after that event, staying in the home felt unbearable,” she recounted. She added, “At one family gathering, Minhwan inappropriately touched me and placed money in my collar. I wasn’t aware of his activities at adult venues at that time, so it didn’t register with me until later, when the pieces began to fit.”

Yulhee even reenacted the scenario, stating, “It was like putting together a puzzle. Even in front of his family, he would touch me inappropriately and I thought it was merely drunken affection.”

Yulhee and Choi Minhwan, who wed in 2018, share a son and twin daughters. The couple finalized their divorce in December of the previous year, with Choi Minhwan receiving custody of the children.
