Yung Filly, UK YouTuber, Charged with Sexual Assault in Australian Court

Prominent British YouTuber Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, is currently facing legal proceedings in Australia following allegations of sexual assault during his tour in the country.

Barrientos has been formally charged with multiple offenses, including four counts of non-consensual sexual engagement, three counts of assault causing bodily injury, and a single count of obstructing a person’s normal breathing or circulation.

This 29-year-old social media influencer was touring Australia, performing his music and DJing at various local venues. The accusations arose from an incident after his performance at Bar1 Nightclub in Perth on September 27.

A woman in her twenties reported to the Western Australia Police that she had been assaulted in Barrientos’ hotel room shortly after the concert.

As part of his 2024 tour in Australia, Barrientos had scheduled seven performances, with the Bar1 show marking the beginning of the tour on September 27.

Initially gaining fame through YouTube, Barrientos is known for his comedic videos, both on his channels and through collaborations with other popular UK personalities. He frequently appears in Beta Squad productions and often secures sponsorship deals with leading brands across his social media platforms.

Yung Filly’s Australian tour was completed on October 6, prior to his extradition back to Perth.

The YouTuber has not yet publicly commented on the situation. Local authorities are encouraging anyone with additional information to come forward. Meanwhile, Barrientos remains in police custody as he awaits a decision from the magistrate.
