Yunli, an upcoming 5-star unit in Honkai Star Rail, is the subject of much speculation and anticipation among players. Based on leaks and in-game information, here is everything currently known about her.

Yunli possesses a candid and direct demeanor, driven by a fervent determination to eradicate all cursed swords that have appeared in Zhuming.

Release Date for Yunli in Honkai Star Rail
Unfortunately, Yunli’s release date in Honkai Star Rail is yet to be announced.
HoYoverse has been confirmed to be available alongside the first half of version 2.4. According to the regular six-week release cycle, her availability is expected to be around the end of July 2024.
Yunli Element in Honkai Star Rail
Yunli is set to join Honkai Star Rail as a Physical Destruction unit. While there is limited information available about her gameplay, it is speculated that, as a Destruction unit, she will possess some sort of HP drain abilities. She is anticipated to have a blend of Blade and Clara’s playstyles, incorporating Follow Up Attacks and powerful Ultimate attacks.
Yunli’s Abilities in Honkai Star Rail
The abilities that Yunli has leaked in Honkai Star Rail can be found below:
- Basic ATK- Galespin Summersault
- Deals Physical ATK equivalent to 130% of Yunli’s ATK to a single enemy.
- Skill- Bladeborne Quake
- Restores HP equal to 35% of Yunli’s ATK plus 256.25, and deals Physical DMG equal to 150% of Yunli’s ATK to a single enemy target and Physical ATK equal to 75% of Yunli’s ATK to adjacent target.
- Ultimate- Earthbind, Eatherbreak
- Consume 120 Energy. Yunli gains block and taunts all enemies, lasting until the end of the next turn of an allied or enemy unit. While Block is active, Yunli’s Crit DMG increases by 120%. When the Counter Talent effect is triggered while block is active, it will be switched to a Counter Intuit: Cull Effect and also dispel block.
- If no Counters are triggered while Block is active, when the effect ends, Yunli will immediately launch a Counter Intuit: Slash effect on a random target.
- When an Intuit: Slash is inflicted, it will cause the next Intuit: Slash to become Intuit: Cull.
- Intuit: Slash- Deals Physical DMG to a target equal to 288% of Yunli’s ATK, and deals Physical DMG to adjacent targets equal to 144% of Yunli’s ATK.
- Intuit: Cull- Deals Physical DMG to a target equal to 288% of Yunli’s ATK to the target, and deals Physical DMG to adjacent targets equal to 144% of Yunli’s ATK. Additionally, deal 6 instances of DMG, with each instant dealing Physical DMG equal to 96% of Yunli’s ATK to a random single target.
- Talent- Flashforge
- When Yunli is attacked by an enemy target, immediately launches a Counter on the attacker, dealing Physical DMG equal to 150% of Yunli’s ATK, and Physical DMG to adjacent targets equal to 75% of Yunli’s ATK.
- Technique- Posterior Precedence
- Gains the Ward Effect for 15 seconds. When entering combat by attacking enemies or receiving an attack, immediately inflicts Intuit: Cull on a random enemy, and increases this ATK’s DMG by 80%.
Eidolons of Yunli in Honkai Star Rail
Yunli’s Eidolons that were revealed in Honkai Star Rail are listed below:
- The “Level 1- Weathered Blade Does not Sully”ability increases the damage from Intuit: Slash and Intuit: Cull by 20%, and also increases the extra damage hits from Intuit: Cull by 3.
- Yunli’s CRIT Rate increases by 18% at the end of each turn, lasting until the start of the next turn, when she reaches Level 2 and her first Luster Breaks Dawn.
- The skill “Mastlength Twirls Mountweight”at Level 3 will now have an increased Skill Level by 2, with a maximum Level of 15. Additionally, the Basic Attack Level will also increase by 1, with a maximum Level of 10.
- At Level 4, Artisan’s Ironsong grants Yunli the ability to ignore 20% of a target’s DEF when dealing damage through a Counter attack.
- Level 5- Blade of Old Endures All: Ultimate Lv. +2, with a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, with a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Level 6: Blade-Stepping, Zither-Talking: Upon using his Ultimate, if the next unit to take action is an enemy unit, the Intuit: Cull ability will activate, regardless of whether it is targeting Yunli. Additionally, the Block effect granted by the Ultimate will not be removed and will remain in effect until the conclusion of the following turn. This ability can only be activated once per turn.
