Exploring the Hidden Details of Yuta in the Latest Jujutsu Kaisen Volume Cover

The cover of Jujutsu Kaisen volume 28, currently untitled at the time of this article’s publication, prominently displayed Yuta Okkotsu, one of the most powerful sorcerers. The cover depicted Yuta covered in bloodstains, portraying his grave condition, with the cursed technique Rika visible in the background.

Despite the initial eerie aura of the cover, the disturbing feeling intensifies upon uncovering its hidden details. The blood stain on the man’s chest resembles a heart that has been torn in half, possibly alluding to the moment when the King of Curses chopped him into two pieces.

Secondly, a shadow looms over Yuta’s head, serving as a reminder of the moment he was chopped in two and resorted to Kenjaku’s cursed technique to transfer his consciousness into Gojo Satoru and engage in battle against the King of Curses.

Thirdly, his katana is positioned the same way as when Rika held him after he transferred his consciousness into Gojo Satoru. Lastly, the sorrowful expression on the cover represents his deep sadness for his teacher, Gojo Satoru, whose body he had to inhabit in order to battle Sukuna, even after his passing.

After successfully defeating Kenjaku with assistance from Takaba, Okkotsu Yuta bravely faced Ryomen Sukuna on the battlefield. Despite revealing his powerful cursed technique, the King of Curses proved to be a formidable opponent. Ultimately, Yuta was outwitted and fell victim to the world-cutting slash.

Despite being in a similar situation to Gojo Satoru, his chances of survival were slim. In order to increase his chances, he used Kenjaku’s cursed technique, which he had previously copied, and assumed the identity of Gojo Satoru by transferring his consciousness to his teacher.

As Rika witnessed his original body lying lifeless, she took him into her arms and began to weep. Meanwhile, the second round of the most intense battle began as Yuta utilized every move he had learned from his teacher during their training sessions.

Despite Gojo’s body giving out soon afterwards, he was able to successfully land a Hollow Purple on Sukuna by utilizing Inumaki’s cursed technique through a recorder phone. This became his final appearance in the series.
