Yuta’s Potential Survival in Jujutsu Kaisen and Revelation of Kenjaku’s Ultimate Secret

Yuta’s Potential Survival in Jujutsu Kaisen and Revelation of Kenjaku’s Ultimate Secret

In the final pages of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263, Sukuna encountered a powerful Maximum Jacob’s Ladder while Yuta remained unconscious on the battlefield. The chapter also hinted that Yuta’s inability to fully utilize Kenjaku’s technique may be due to his lack of complete understanding. Furthermore, it suggested that Kenjaku may be exploiting loopholes or binding vows to prolong the effects of his technique.

Yuta’s consumption of Kenjaku and subsequent use of his technique to take over Gojo’s body and battle Sukuna has undoubtedly been one of the most pivotal moments in the recent events of the manga. The events of chapter 263 have sparked numerous theories surrounding the true nature of Kenjaku’s prolonged body-swapping technique and how it may play a role in Yuta’s ultimate goal.

Note: This article contains spoilers for the Jujutsu Kaisen series.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Yuta’s Final Contribution: Revealing Kenjaku’s Permanent Body-Swapping Tricks

Despite chapter 263 confirming Yuta’s lack of familiarity with Gojo’s body and his inability to utilize Rika while in control of it, the exact mechanisms of Kenjaku’s technique and the complexities of his ability to possess a single technique for an indefinite period of time have yet to be disclosed.

Even though the possibility of Yuta’s 5-minute limit on the copy technique overlapping with Kenjaku’s body-swapping technique was last discussed in chapters 261 and 262, it still remains unclear what the outcome of Yuta’s actions will be.

The dialogues sparked various theories revolving around Yuta’s fate, such as the possibility of his demise once his copy technique expires or the idea of being permanently confined in Gojo’s body.

Despite this, the dialogues fail to mention whether Kenjaku’s technique results in a permanent body swap or if it is only a temporary ability that exploits a loophole unique to Kenjaku.

Chapter 263 opens with Yuta launching a Hollow Purple attack at Sukuna. Despite its lack of impact on Sukuna, the result was Yuta’s body becoming completely limp and incapacitated due to Kenjaku’s technique being depleted by Gojo’s domain.

This not only caused Yuta to exceed his allotted 5-minute time limit, but it also resulted in his supposed demise. However, despite popular belief among fans, it is possible that this is not truly the end for Yuta, as the departure of a major character and former protagonist like him would not be so unremarkable.

It is possible that chapter 264 will begin by delving into Yuta’s thoughts and uncovering the reasons and potential loopholes he could utilize to revive Kenjaku’s technique. Another possibility is that Yuta’s soul will be returned to his body through Ui Ui’s cursed technique, following the implementation of a unique binding vow.

Although making a binding vow to prolong Kenjaku’s possession technique may have significant consequences, Yuta could potentially survive and contemplate long enough to reach a decisive conclusion about this loophole.

Yuta’s perceptive abilities and deductive skills have been well-established, placing him second only to the likes of Todo and Gojo himself. It is only fitting for his character that he is able to deduce the complete workings of Kenjaku’s technique.

Gojo has been presented with an intellectual challenge, particularly through his conversations about memories and Kenjaku’s schemes. The question remains whether Gojo’s mind was disposed of or if it was transferred into Yuta’s repaired body. The sight of Yuta’s severed body being mended and Rika weeping while cradling it suggests a significant plot point that has yet to be uncovered.

Additional Thoughts

Despite the ongoing hiatus of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, fans can look forward to the release of chapter 264 on July 28, 2024. In the previous chapter, Sukuna was hit by Angel’s Maximum Jacob’s Ladder at close range, but the upcoming chapter might shift its attention to Yuta and his well-being after being left behind on the battlefield due to his injuries.
