Yuta’s Struggle Against Sukuna: Clues in Old Jujutsu Kaisen Artwork

Yuta’s Struggle Against Sukuna: Clues in Old Jujutsu Kaisen Artwork

Despite the current break for Jujutsu Kaisen, fans eagerly await the outcome after the events of chapter 262. Only a few members of Team Jujutsu High, including Yuji Itadori, Todo Aoi, and the newest addition Yuta/Gojo, remain standing. Fans patiently hope for the best during this break.

The fandom was sent into shock with Yuta’s, or rather Gojo Satoru’s, return. However, there is no time to grieve as Ryomen Sukuna remains standing despite sustaining significant damage. Furthermore, as Sukuna and Yuta/Gojo prepare for another fight, it seems that the Demon King has surpassed the Limitless abilities of the white-haired sorcerer.

Despite possessing Gojo’s body, it seems that Yuta may still require assistance in completing his task. Considering the way events are unfolding, a previous piece of official artwork suggests that Yuji may lend a hand in helping Yuta defeat Sukuna in the final arc.

This article is based on speculation.

Old Jujutsu Kaisen Official Art Teases Yuji’s Potential Alliance with Yuta Against Sukuna

Recently, author Gege Akutami released a piece of Jujutsu Kaisen art featuring Gojo in his final battle attire alongside his two students, Yuta and Yuji. At first glance, it appeared to be the typical official artwork that mangakas often publish.

Despite this, it has been suggested that the events in the final arc could greatly impact this artwork. In particular, among Gojo’s students, Yuta and Yuji have been predicted to possess immense power and potentially even surpass their teacher.

Additionally, the original intention of both these individuals was to join Gojo in the upcoming battle. However, with the news of Gojo’s preserved physical form, the potential for the trio – Gojo, Yuta, and Yuji – to confront Sukuna has arisen. This scenario closely resembles Sukuna’s previous encounter with Gojo, where he faced him alongside Mahoraga and the Merged Beast Agito in a 3-on-1 battle.

It also brings about uncertainty and ambiguity regarding Gojo’s potential revival. Although this is a valid concern, ultimately it is the author’s decision on how to bring him back, should he choose to do so. However, there are indications that something is in the works.

Initially, the idea of using Gojo’s body as a backup plan may seem unsettling, but it was a guarantee that it had been properly safeguarded, as previously predicted. Additionally, with Yuta having replicated Kenjaku’s technique, his time in his borrowed body is limited to a mere 5 minutes before an unforeseen event occurs – although the exact consequences remain unknown, as Team Jujutsu High can only speculate.

Ultimately, upon reflection of the artwork, it is clear that Gege Akutami and Jujutsu Kaisen have a knack for expertly setting up future events. The inclusion of Gojo alongside Yuta and Yuji in the artwork is not a coincidence, as there is a subtle hint as to why he was chosen. While some may believe this moment of Yuta controlling Gojo provides the answer, it is important to remember Akutami’s tendency to surprise readers, leaving endless possibilities open.

Despite seemingly completing his role as an individual in Jujutsu Kaisen, it is still incredibly intriguing to see Gojo featured once again. Just when it seemed like there was no way for him to return, he reappeared in a twisted yet necessary manner.

Despite the author’s health issues causing a break in the manga, fans continue to speculate and express concern. They send their well wishes for Akutami’s recovery and hope for a positive outcome for both the author and the series.
